As a Staff Technical Program Manager, you would be planning and coordinating with various components teams software stack for XPENG vehicles. At XPENG KPI driven development process is backbone of our engineering efforts. You will also plan and coordinate delivery of this KPI driven development process infrastructure. Another key responsibility would be to streamline and optimize agile software development practices followed by various teams and help team leads run their team efficiently.
You will be working with teams comprising of best in class model, software and infrastructure engineers to ensure best in class performance. Your work will ensure that we deliver the most reliable mass market autonomous vehicle solution.
Job Responsibilities:

Define the roadmap for VLA model development with clear milestones (data collection, model training, simulation validation, on-road testing).

Coordinate resource allocation and prioritization across algorithm, engineering, data, and testing teams.

Manage program risks, identify technical bottlenecks (e.g., quantization accuracy loss, real-time performance gaps) and drive resolution.

Track OKRs and KPIs (model accuracy, inference latency, corner case coverage).
Basic Qualifications:
-
Bachelors or Masters in computer science or other related engineering field.
-
5 years + of technical program management experience in engineering or related fields.

Solid foundation and experience in agile software development practices and hands on ability to optimize agile software development processes.

Mandarin speaking is required.

Excellent problem-solving skills.

Experience in managing delivery of complex embedded real-time software systems.

Experience in establishing strong software development processes.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in autonomous driving stack development.

Work experience in a fast paced environment.

Experience in managing large projects or programs with cross functional teams in multiple timezones.

Proficient in project management methodologies and tools.

Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.

Experience in machine learning product development.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $125,580 - $212,520, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
