About this role
Liquid Personnel is recruiting a Supervising Social Worker to join its client’s Fostering Service team in Leeds.
This opportunity is with an Independent Fostering Agency (IFA) that offers a supportive and collaborative environment. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will manage a reasonable caseload, allowing you to focus on providing guidance, training, and support to foster carers and the children/young people in their care.
You’ll work closely with dedicated clinical and support teams to ensure the right resources are in place for every child and carer to thrive.
What will your responsibilities be?
In this role, you will,
- Carry out home visits with foster carers and young people
- Responsible for the children's care and development needs are met
- Undertake placement management against required care plans
- Planning and intervention for both emergency and planned referrals
- Ensure young people have a safe and stable environment to allow them to reach their full potential
Qualifications & Experience:
To be successful in this role you must have Social Work England registration, be eligible to work in the UK, hold a qualification in Social Work at degree level, and have post-qualified experience.
