This role is responsible for leading and developing a high-performing implementation coordination team within a fast-paced healthcare technology environment. You will oversee end-to-end client implementation activities, ensuring smooth delivery of healthcare software solutions that connect providers, payers, and systems at scale. Acting as both a team leader and escalation point, you will help resolve complex implementation challenges while ensuring a consistent, high-quality customer experience. The role blends operational leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Support teams. You will also play a key role in driving process improvements, training programs, and performance standards. This is a highly visible position where your leadership directly impacts client success and operational excellence.
Accountabilities:
In this role, you will lead the Implementation Coordinators team while ensuring successful execution of healthcare software implementations and continuous improvement of delivery processes. You will act as a key escalation point, ensuring client issues are resolved effectively while maintaining strong internal coordination and service quality standards.
- Lead and supervise the Implementation Coordinators team, providing coaching, guidance, and performance management
- Oversee Essentials Pro and Trading Partner implementations from planning through execution and delivery
- Serve as escalation point for implementation-related issues, risks, and client service challenges
- Collaborate with Sales, Product, Support, and Success teams to ensure seamless implementation delivery
- Develop and execute training programs for new and existing team members
- Monitor team performance through quality audits, KPIs, and productivity tracking
- Identify process gaps and lead continuous improvement initiatives across implementation workflows
- Ensure adherence to standardized implementation methodologies and best practices
- Support product launches and contribute to implementation readiness activities
- Document performance evaluations and support employee development planning
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in a related field, or equivalent experience in healthcare or healthcare IT
- 4+ years of relevant business experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role
- Experience with healthcare software implementation or similar technical delivery environments
- Strong leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with client-facing experience
- Proven ability to manage escalations and resolve complex service issues
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities
- Ability to think holistically and solve problems with a systems-level mindset
- Experience working collaboratively across cross-functional teams
- Ability to travel up to 20%
