ACC Care Group is seeking caring and enthusiastic Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, independent lives.
You'll provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs, helping people develop skills, access the community, and achieve their personal goals.
Responsibilities
- Supporting daily living skills
- Promoting independence and choice
- Supporting community access and activities
- Assisting with communication methods and routines
- Following Positive Behaviour Support strategies where required
- Recording accurate care documentation
- Working closely with families and professionals
Ideal Candidate
- Experience supporting people with learning disabilities and/or autism (preferred)
- Patient and understanding
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive and encouraging attitude
- Flexible and reliable
- Committed to person-centred care
Essential Requirements
✔ Full UK Driving Licence
✔ Access to your own vehicle
✔ Right to work in the UK
✔ Willingness to undertake specialist training
✔ Flexible to work shifts, evenings and weekends
