About the role

We’reonthe lookoutfor a dynamic individual whocan work independently, is highlyresponsibleandthrivesinan ever-changing environment. In this role,you willbe responsible formonitoringthe quality of ourgeographical data as well ascollectingimageryfor ourGeographical Information System.

During our peak seasons, you will befacilitatingourdata collection shifts. The shiftscanrange upfrom 8 to 10 hours (although some shifts require less time due to weather conditions, time of day, and location).

The ideal candidatewould be passionate,tenacious, results focused and really enjoy working in a highly energetic and exciting environment.

What you'll do

• Operate our sidewalk survey electric scooters to collect video and geospatial information using a mobile application.

• Collect specific data such as attributes,measurementsand condition of roadway assets including Sidewalk and curb Ramps.

• Ensureboth delivery and qualityobjectivesare met on projects.

• Work,collaborateand communicate with the other Data Collection team members to ensure good project execution.

• Drive our collection car andoperateour Lidar system to collect data.

• Conduct visual inspection for highways and sidewalks to record distresses

Qualifications

• Experience collaborating with other teams and clients.

• Ability tomaintainfocus and complete tasks assigned.

• Extreme attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.

• Experience withusing computers.

• Ability to ride the e-scooter system for 8 to 10 hours and manage long shift hours.

• Experience withworking in a dynamic work environment with necessary problem-solving skills.

Must Have

• ValidCanadiandriver’s license isa must.

• Must be able to work overtime, and occasional weekend work is expected.

• Safe driving record preferred.

• Mustbe willing to travel (for weeks at atime).

• Follow instructions,proceduresand company standards.

• Must be reliable andpossessa highattention to detail.

• Flexible to sudden changes in scheduling and duties.

• High School Diploma/GED.

• Written and verbal fluency in English (asmost of our clients are based in other Canadian Provinces)

• Physical ability to lift 20+kg, andwalk 5-10kmina day.

Nice to Have

• Previousin-the-field and on-the-road experience preferred.

• HavingSurveying,Civil Engineering or Pavement Management experience is a bigplus, butnotrequired.

• Associate Degreein science, engineering, or geography/GIS

Nous sommes à la recherche d’une personne dynamique, autonome et responsable, qui s’épanouit dans un environnement en constante évolution.

Dans ce rôle, vous serez responsable du contrôle de la qualité de nos données géospatiales ainsi que de la collecte d’images destinées à notre système d’information géographique (SIG).

Durant nos périodes de pointe, vous participerez activement aux opérations de collecte de données sur le terrain. Les quarts de travail peuvent généralement varier entre 8 et 10 heures, bien que leur durée puisse être réduite en fonction des conditions météorologiques, de l’heure de la journée ou du lieu de travail.
