Learn and develop an understanding of customer satisfaction by performing repair and maintenance work on mechanical and electrical equipment that meets or exceeds customers’ expectations. Maximize customer satisfaction by transporting Floor Care Equipment while abiding by all OSHA and DOT regulations. Respond to supervisor in a timely, polite, and professional manner, and conduct work with an efficiency that will contribute to the reputation, growth, and profit of Lift Power Inc.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Observe all safety procedures
  • Communicate with the Floor Care Service department to clarify job assignments when necessary
  • Analyze and diagnose customer equipment problems and breakdowns as scheduled by the Floor Care service supervisor and with guidance from the shop technicians
  • Confirm the correct service and repair actions to resolve equipment performance problems
    • Communicate needs for additional repairs to the Floor Care Service Manager
  • Makes appropriate equipment repairs or modifications with guidance from the Floor Care Service Supervisor and shop technicians to solve operating and performance problems as dictated by the analysis of the customer’s equipment
  • Communicate with Floor Care Service Department regarding part requirements or unexpected service delays
  • Follow all scheduled maintenance procedures and policies as dictated by the company
  • Accurately and neatly document each service repair and provide the necessary paperwork
  • Properly dispose of hazardous waste as directed by the shop service supervisor and shop technicians.
  • Maintain the shop work area in a clean, safe, and hazard-free condition
  • Provide well-maintained personal tools required to effectively perform equipment service duties
