Our client, a global IT services firm, is looking for a Talent Acquisition Leader to join its global team! The company is growing, and this position will help to build the company’s technology recruitment infrastructure along with on-going hands-on technical recruiting. The position is located in Schaumburg, Illinois and will report to Vice President (Human Capital Development).

The client is a global, full service, IT services and project delivery organisation with Big Data, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence and Web/Mobile Application Development as key focus areas.

The motivated and energetic person will be responsible for working with the sales organization and senior leadership while supporting the growing business.



Strategic –


• Build a strong, proactive recruiting engine including process and best practices

• Pro-actively build a strong candidate database and hire “good” skills complementing the organization’s business on “bench” in consultation with the management.

• Participate in company branding activities from a talent acquisition perspective

• Build a team (depending on business needs) of strong recruiters

• Build a strong agency network


Tactical -

• Assist in full-cycle recruiting: source, screen, interview, debrief and close candidates for technical positions.

• Meet with managers to understand job requirements and help write job descriptions.

• Schedule phone and in-person interviews for shortlisted candidates.

• Have a thorough understanding of nature of job opening and explain it to the candidate during phone screen.

• Check professional references and coordinate with background check agency.

• Compose offer letters and negotiate compensation package with candidates to be hired.



Qualifications


• 3-5 years’ experience in Technical Recruiting preferably in our technology domains

• Flair of lead/management role

• Exceptional verbal and written communication.

• Knowledge of various visa regulations.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred. Human Resources degree is preferred.

• Ability to adapt to shift in priorities and strategy.
