Team Member (A&W)

An A&W Team Member provides friendly, fast, and accurate service while preparing quality food and maintaining a clean and welcoming restaurant environment.

**Key Responsibilities **:

**Customer Service **:

• Greet guests warmly and take orders with a positive attitude
• Ensure guests receive correct, high-quality orders promptly
• Handle cash, card, and mobile transactions accurately using a POS system
• Address customer questions or concerns professionally

**Food Preparation **:

• Cook and assemble food orders following A&W recipes and standards
• Prepare beverages including root beer floats and soft drinks
• Follow food safety and cleanliness procedures

**Cleanliness & Maintenance **:

• Maintain a clean work environment in kitchen, dining, and restroom areas
• Restock supplies, condiments, and packaging materials as needed
• Perform opening, mid-shift, or closing duties as assigned

**Teamwork **:

• Work with fellow team members to ensure efficient restaurant operations
• Communicate effectively with managers and coworkers
• Be willing to assist in other tasks or roles when necessary

Requirements

• No previous experience required (on-the-job training provided)
• Friendly, reliable, and customer-focused
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication skills
• Must be punctual and team-oriented
• Able to stand for long periods and lift 15–25 lbs if needed
