Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly and provide fast, friendly, and accurate service
- Take customer orders and process payments using the POS system
- Prepare pizzas, pasta, and other menu items according to Sbarro standards
- Ensure food quality, freshness, and presentation meet company expectations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, prep areas, and dining space
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Assist with stocking ingredients, supplies, and inventory as needed
- Work as part of a team to ensure smooth and efficient operations during busy periods
- Support opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties as assigned
Requirements
- No experience required — training provided
- Previous restaurant, food service, or customer service experience is a plus
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math and cash handling skills preferred
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–50 lbs as needed
- Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays preferred
