What We are looking for

We are looking for a **Technical Operations Analyst **(TechOps Analyst) to join our responsible team for supporting internal procedures and business teams on our platform. As a TechOps Analyst, you will be joining a tight-knit, friendly, professional team of dedicated people who provide support, get excited to solve tough problems, and like seeing results fast. Also, you will work on all aspects of troubleshooting mission-critical 24/7 client operations.

What you will work on

  • Provide 1st level technical support to respond, investigate and resolve escalated incidents and service requests through the internal Service Management system
  • Direct escalation to internal support teams in cases that a resolution is not immediately possible and following up incidents through resolution
  • Perform incident management process taking any necessary steps to restore service and return the platform to normal operations as quickly as possible (Atlassian Jira ITSM)
  • Proactive monitoring of live production environment and event management based on internal dashboards and application health alerts generated by monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana)
  • Subsequent testing conduction to detect and confirm application defects and external service providers issues, following up with the relevant stakeholders
  • Cooperate with developer teams, providing 1st level real time production logs investigation and retrieval (ELK Stack - Kibana)
  • Perform IT operations procedures in the production environment (Octopus Deploy)
  • Perform release deployment operations in the production environment (Octopus Deploy)
  • Hands-on handling and troubleshooting of a wide variety of support matters
  • Build internal knowledge base and document articles to improve internal incident management process
  • Speedily interpret and analyze data from various sources in a fast-moving and changing environment

What you bring

  • BSc in Information Technology, or relevant field; MSc will be considered as a plus

  • 1+ year of experience in a production support environment or a similar role

  • ITIL Foundation certified or equivalent experience working in an organization adopting ITIL best practices will be a strong asset

  • Experience working in an organization adopting Incident Management and IT operations best practices

  • Nice to have experience with monitoring tools and applications such as: Grafana, Zabbix, Prometheus, PRTG, Nagios and Kibana

  • Prior experience with ITSM tools like Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Opsgenie

  • Fluency in Greek and English (both written and verbal)

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Attention to detail and ability to efficiently solve problems

  • Willingness to work both day and night shifts in a rotation
