About the role

We are looking for an Upsell Manager to join our Sales department and lead the performance, development, and engagement of our Upsell function.

This role is responsible for supporting the Upsell Team Manager and wider team, driving revenue growth through existing customer relationships, and ensuring upsell, cross-sell, and account growth opportunities are consistently maximised. You will play a key role in developing people, improving performance, and contributing to the continued commercial success of the business.


Key responsibilities

  • Leading, coaching, and developing the Upsell Team Manager and wider Upsell team.
  • Driving departmental performance against revenue, margin, conversion, productivity, and quality targets.
  • Supporting performance management, coaching, and employee development activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to increase customer value and maximise account growth.
  • Monitoring performance data and implementing improvement actions.
  • Supporting employee engagement, wellbeing, and succession planning.
  • Identifying trends, risks, and opportunities to improve commercial performance.
  • Supporting recruitment, onboarding, and talent development activities.
  • Working collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
  • Leading change initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
  • Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.


Essential requirements for this role include

  • Experience managing Team Managers within a sales or commercial environment.
  • Proven success in delivering revenue and commercial objectives.
  • Strong coaching, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to analyse performance information and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercially focused with a commitment to achieving results.
