• Welcome guests warmly and escort them to their tables when required.
• Present menus, explain menu items, daily specials, and beverage options.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
• Serve food and beverages promptly and according to established service standards.
• Check guest satisfaction during the meal and respond promptly to requests or concerns.
• Clear and reset tables efficiently between guests.
• Prepare and maintain dining areas to ensure cleanliness and presentation standards.
• Process guest bills and handle payments accurately.
• Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure timely service.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, allergens and promotional offers.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setting up and cleaning the restaurant.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Report any guest complaints, incidents, or equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.
• Promote additional food and beverage items through suggestive selling where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service or a related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel or hospitality environment is preferred.
