The Warehouse Attendant is responsible for receiving and verifying incoming orders, disbursing materials to employees and processing defective materials returns for all equipment used by PRTC.
- Checks incoming shipments against orders and enters account codes on all purchase requisitions; and enters inventory data in automated inventory system;
- Receives and disburses ONTs, routers, set top boxes, security equipment and other serialized equipment and ensures inventory management systems are updated accordingly.
- Receives and disburses cable, tools, and other non-serialized equipment and ensures inventory management systems are updated accordingly.
- Maintains organized and clean supply warehouse; issues equipment and supplies to authorized personnel; keeps and maintains accurate records on all warehouse materials.
- Verifies items received against items ordered;
- Reworks used equipment when possible; stores and packs outdated and other usable equipment and keeps adequate records on all returned equipment;
- Replenishes stock items at remote warehouses and assists with vehicle inventories.
- Must be able to scan barcode items with high level of accuracy
- Must be able to navigate Excel, Word, and other programs
- Must be able to type and use computer systems in an efficient and effective manner.
- Assist with physical inventory audits on an annual basis.
- Must follow all corporate safety guidelines.
Personnel Specifications
Education/Experience
High school degree required. Knowledge and skills usually acquired through two to three years of experience in purchasing procedures, inventory control, and storage, preferably in telco plant operations
