#137318 - Scrum Manager - Software Delivery

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Manager to support software engineering and product delivery teams. This person will independently lead core Scrum practices, partner with technical and product leaders, help teams manage planned work alongside ongoing operational needs, and improve delivery health through practical coaching, risk management, and continuous improvement.

 

Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

- Lead daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other core Scrum activities across one to three delivery teams.

- Partner with technical and product leaders to implement and continuously improve each team's Scrum framework.

- Monitor team capacity and manage the effect of unplanned sprint work on delivery commitments.

- Facilitate team discussions, decision-making, conflict resolution, and clear communication.

- Coach teams on Agile and Scrum best practices while keeping processes lightweight, sustainable, and adaptable.

- Identify delivery risks early and define actionable mitigation plans before issues escalate.

- Reduce friction among Engineering, Product, and Business stakeholders through structured, transparent collaboration.

- Coordinate dependencies with other Scrum Masters and contribute to cross-team Scrum and leadership status forums.

- Maintain impediment logs, resolution tracking, escalation paths, roadmap updates, dependency maps, and blocker dashboards.

- Help teams integrate operational and business-as-usual work into backlogs and sprints alongside planned initiatives.

Qualifications

Must-Have Skills

 

- At least 3 years of hands-on Scrum Master experience supporting software engineering or product delivery teams.

- Proven ability to execute core Scrum Master responsibilities independently and with minimal guidance across one or two concurrent teams.

- Strong facilitation skills across team discussions, conflict resolution, and decision-making.

- Demonstrated servant leadership and the ability to coach teams without imposing rigid process.

- Ability to understand and clearly communicate the business value of team-delivered work.

- Track record of proactively identifying project risks and executing structured remediation plans.

- Experience driving continuous process improvement in partnership with technical and product leadership.

- Experience monitoring delivery capacity and managing the impact of unplanned sprint work.

- Experience coordinating across Engineering, Product, Business, and dependent delivery teams.

- Experience contributing to cross-team Scrum forums and communicating work-item status clearly.

- Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Slack, and Google Workspace.

 

Nice-to-Have Skills

 

- Experience working in a matrixed, fast-paced technology organization.

- Experience working in a large technology company.

- CSM, PSM I, or an equivalent Agile certification. Relevant experience may substitute for certification.

Location, Time & Engagement

 

- Candidates must be based in an eligible LATAM location.

- Full working-hour coverage aligned with U.S. Central Time is required.

- This is a remote contract engagement requiring 40 hours per week.

- The engagement is expected to continue through March 31, 2027.

- This is not currently a contract-to-hire opportunity.
