Overview

We’re seeking a hands-on Mold Process Technician to safeguard mold integrity, optimize changeovers, and drive root-cause analysis with Engineering, Production, and Quality. You’ll ensure traceability, prevent contamination, and help meet production schedules in a safety-first environment.

Reports To: Maintenance Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt


Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard.
  • Document mold changes and machine adjustments, including troubleshooting and equipment maintenance.
  • Communicate effective technical decisions to Engineering, Production, and Management to support root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure molded components meet requirements; make adjustments as needed.
  • Provide molded components in a timely manner to meet production schedules.
  • Manage raw mold material to ensure traceability, shelf life, and prevent contamination.
  • Generate documentation on mold runs for traceability and reproducibility.
  • Work with Quality and Manufacturing to ensure product quality aligns with company standards.
  • Follow established procedures to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure safe working practices are followed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of related experience

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Indoor and outdoor settings including office, manufacturing floor, and warehouse.
  • Exposure to loud noises, dust, dirt, and smoke may occur.
  • Protective safety clothing may be required (appropriate clothing, shoes, gloves, goggles) as needed.
  • Extended periods of standing or sitting; extensive use of measuring devices and machinery.
  • Able to lift over 50 pounds.
