3D Game Design Instructor (Unity, Unreal Engine) for After School K-12

As a member of our network, you will be matched with opportunities to teach 3D Game Design to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across NYC. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.

Develop age-appropriate 3D Game Design curriculum for after-school students using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.

Lead weekly in-person classes with enthusiasm and expertise where students practice coding, build immersive worlds, and design games that are fun to play and share.

Establish a well-structured and lively classroom that keeps students engaged

Foster a positive, supportive, and encouraging learning environment for students of varying skill levels

Build connections with students in a warm and inclusive environment

Track student growth and offer positive, helpful feedback

Arrive prepared, on time, and ready to teach

Create a memorable experience for the children in your class

A fun, enthusiastic, adaptable instructor, with experience teaching school age children, and who:

Has subject matter expertise in 3D Game Design using Unity and/or Unreal Engine.

Has a passion and skill for building hands-on projects with kids

Has excitement, joy, and passion for both teaching kids and personal development/learning

Knows how to create a fun, structured, and inclusive classroom environment

Brings your own voice and creativity to each class you teach

Is cooperative, supportive, flexible

Is dependable, proactive, and thrives when given autonomy … and also appreciates support and clear expectations
