Active Top Secret clearance with an ability to obtain SCI access and willingness to obtain CI Polygraph

As a 3rd Shift Systems Support Engineer you will..

  • Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems in secure, high-availability environments, including servers, networking, storage, virtualization, and security appliances.

  • Monitor system health and investigate incidents using logs, performance metrics, and tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Promtail, and Loki to identify and resolve issues quickly.

  • Support APIs and production infrastructure, including API gateways, troubleshooting technical issues, and providing after-hours/on-call support during critical incidents.

  • Collaborate across technical teams to manage incidents and changes, communicate complex technical issues clearly, and maintain reliable operations in a mission-critical environment.

    • 3rd Shift Systems Admin Qualifications:

    • Security + or CISSP certification, TS/SCI security clearance

    • Good collaboration skill with the ability to work in a team environment

    • Good oral and written communication skills while working in a multi-discipline environment

    • Strong understanding of Linux operating systems/Linux experience required

    • Availability to work extended hours and provide after-hours and on-call support

    • Experience supporting and troubleshooting APIs and security appliances such as API gateways

    • Ability to analyze system logs, performance metrics, and diagnostic data to quickly isolate technical issues

    • Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure during critical production incidents

    Additional things we would like to see...

  • Experience supporting high availability or mission critical environments

  • Experience with Grafana or similar monitoring tool.

  • Familiarity with incident management and change management processes

  • Broad knowledge of servers, networking, storage, and virtualization

  • Experience with cloud monitoring and logging tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, Promtail, and Loki

  • Familiarity with DevOps collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
