The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting sales execution within an assigned territory and platform. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries and training requests, ensuring timely responses, accurate booking management, and effective coordination across internal teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer service requests related to training bookings.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone and email and provide accurate information regarding training options and scheduling.
- Manage and maintain accurate customer records and booking information within the CRM system.
- Coordinate with Training Services, Operations, Key Accounts, and Sales teams to support a seamless customer experience.
- Act as an advocate for customers and a subject matter resource for the assigned platform.
- Manage revenue bookings within the assigned territory and ensure booking details align with customer requirements.
- Build and maintain positive client relationships and serve as a trusted advisor regarding training scheduling needs.
- Address customer concerns before and after training events by identifying solutions, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and escalating issues as appropriate.
- Monitor and follow through on customer concerns until resolution.
- Ensure all reporting and CRM data entry activities are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
Minimum Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant customer service, account management, sales support, or related professional experience.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and customer service skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience managing customer interactions via phone and email.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and enter data into CRM systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years of related industry experience.
- Experience supporting training, aviation, transportation, or related service-based industries.
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 91 and FAR Part 135 regulations.
- Experience working with corporate flight departments and/or charter operators.
- Pilot's license.
- Negotiation skills and experience supporting customer retention initiatives.
