Position Overview
The Account Executive serves as the primary strategic lead and client contact for assigned accounts. This individual develops comprehensive omnichannel media strategies, provides strategic direction to cross-functional internal teams, and ensures that all campaign plans align with established performance targets and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and present integrated media strategies across paid search, paid social, programmatic, affiliate, SEO and lifecycle and emerging channels
- Provide strategic analysis and recommendations by translating performance data into actionable insights that guide optimization priorities and inform future planning
- Serve as the primary strategic lead and relationship manager for assigned clients, including facilitating status meetings, planning sessions, and quarterly business reviews
- Collaborate with planners and buyers; review deliverables for accuracy and strategic alignment
- Oversee campaign performance against budgets, pacing, and KPIs; provide strategic guidance on forecasting and budget reallocation to maximize ROI
- Identify and develop opportunities for account growth, preparing strategic business cases and proposals that connect client challenges to agency capabilities
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on media planning and buying experience, preferably within an agency environment
- Demonstrated experience managing both client and internal team relationships and
- Advanced proficiency in paid search, paid social, and programmatic platforms; relevant certifications preferred
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to digest large data sets and create clear, executive-level narratives
- Authorization to work in the United States and ability to commute to the New York office as required
