Account Expansion Lead
AI Summary
Owns commercial expansion across a portfolio of game studio accounts, turning early proof of value into full rollout through disciplined account mapping, stakeholder planning, and structured follow-up.
About this role
At Metica, we let game studios focus on making great games – while we take care of growing them. We're an AI-native growth partner for mobile games studios, unifying user acquisition and in-game monetisation so games grow without studios having to build that expertise in-house.
We're built by founders and an early team on their third venture together (previously built and exited to King and Apple), backed by Play Ventures, 13books Capital and Firstminute Capital. We're already working with some of the biggest names in mobile gaming, and are entering our scaling phase – which means real ownership for whoever joins us next.

The Role
You'll own turning proven customer value into commercial expansion – building trust with studios and applying disciplined process (account mapping, stakeholder plans, follow-up) to grow Metica's relationships across the accounts you serve.
This is a remote role, but eagerness to travel globally is expected. You're leading this function, not just executing inside it, which means client on-sites and industry conferences are a regular part of the job, not an occasional exception.
You Will
Own expansion across your book of business: turn early proof of value into full portfolio rollout, moving accounts from one or two initial titles to 100% of eligible titles, fast and without unnecessary friction.
Carry clear revenue and expansion targets each quarter, working a disciplined process (account mapping, stakeholder plans, structured follow-up) rather than an opportunistic one.
Partner closely with Customer Success so expansion is grounded in value already delivered, not a renewal conversation, keeping growth stable rather than forced.
Lead commercial negotiations on expansion and renewal terms, structuring agreements that are genuinely mutually beneficial, not just favorable to Metica, so the relationship compounds over multiple titles and years.
Prioritize ruthlessly across a live portfolio, knowing which account to push now, which to nurture and which to park, using AI tools and creative problem-solving to move faster than a manual process allows.
You Need
You come from a gaming background with existing industry relationships, not purely a generalist sales career (this is a deal-breaker if missing).
Strong negotiation skills: you can structure agreements that work for both the customer and Metica, not just extract the most favorable terms.
Excellent command of English, spoken and written, you're the one drafting agreements and running the room.
Sharp prioritization instincts across a live account portfolio, and comfort using AI tools and creative, non-obvious approaches when the standard playbook doesn't fit.
Comfortable meeting customers in person when there's something of real value to bring to the conversation.
