About this role
Summary / Objective
Our client an MNC shipping company is looking for an Accountant you will play a crucial role in supporting the Finance Manager and Senior Accountant by managing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and timely submission of financial data.
Responsibilities
- Review and prepare subsidiaries' management accounts
- Compile group consolidation reports
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and adjustments
- Provide detailed financial analysis, variance explanations, and insights
- Approve documents in ERP systems according to workflow processes
- Handle GST review and submissions
- Coordinate and act as liaison with auditors during audits
- Resolve audit queries and manage audit timelines efficiently
- Prepare financial statements, audit reports, and notes to accounts
- Support annual returns and statutory filings
- Prepare tax schedules and assist with corporate tax filings
- Assist with transfer pricing documentation
- Contribute to system implementations
- Provide administrative support and additional ad hoc tasks as required
