We’re now looking for a detail-driven and commercially minded Accountant to join our team and support our South East Asia market. This is a Fixed-Term Full-Time opportunity until September 2026.

About the Role

As the Accountant, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial information across the South East Asia region. You’ll take ownership of core accounting processes, partner with internal stakeholders, and deliver insights that support informed decision-making.

This is a hands-on role with a strong mix of financial reporting, operational support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close processes including journals, accruals and prepayments
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
• Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable processes
• Prepare/review GST returns and ensure timely compliance
• Manage Payroll, commissions and incentives
• Partner with operations and supply chain teams on stock reconciliation

What you will bring

• A tertiary degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
• CA/CPA qualified (Or working towards)
• 3-5 years experience in a similar role (FMCG, Manufacturing, Retail or Health Products preferred)
• Solid understanding of GST/VAT and financial compliance requirements
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

As our Head Office and direct report manager is based in New Zealand, being confident with time zone differences/changes and communicating with overseas teams is integral to this role.
