We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to join our finance team in Quezon City, Philippines. As an integral part of our organization, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with local and international accounting standards.

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare and review financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports in accordance with GAAP and IFRS
• Reconcile bank statements and conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
• Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
• Ensure compliance with local tax laws and regulations in the Philippines
• Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency
• Participate in audit preparations and liaise with external auditors
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to support decision-making
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for all financial transactions
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting procedures

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, IFRS, and Philippine accounting standards
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with accounting software
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Meticulous attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of local tax laws and regulations in the Philippines
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• CPA certification is preferred but not required
• Familiarity with financial reporting standards specific to the Philippines
