Assistant Accountant

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organizedAssistant Accountantto join our dynamic team.In this role, you will be responsible for supporting financial operations, managing accounts, and ensuring accuracy in financial transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records for the restaurant.
• Process invoices, expenses, and receipts in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Collaborate with the finance team to prepare financial reports and budgets.
• Handle day-to-day accounting tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Work closely with other departments to gather financial information and provide insights.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Proven experience in accounting, preferably in hospitality industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  
• Knowledge of operational systems (Micros) and Oracle systems (SUN and Material Control) is a plus
