Redwood Strategy Group (RSG) is seeking an entry-level Accounting and Administrative Coordinator to support our internal operations and a small client contract. This role is a good fit for someone who is organized, comfortable working with numbers, and interested in building accounting and business operations experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support RSG’s accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, including invoice preparation, payment tracking, and recordkeeping.
  • Assist with payroll preparation by collecting and reviewing timesheets, tracking discrepancies, and coordinating corrections.
  • Provide accounts payable and accounts receivable support for a small external client contract.
  • Maintain accurate financial and administrative records and help reconcile transactions.
  • Draft and schedule social media posts in coordination with company leadership.
  • Provide general administrative support, including document preparation, meeting coordination, data entry, and other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • MUST BE A US CITIZEN
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency with Excel, Word, Outlook, and other common business tools.
  • Ability to handle payroll, financial, and employee information confidentially.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Interest in accounting, payroll, and small-business operations.
  • A degree or pursuing a degree in accounting




Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, bookkeeping, or social media is helpful but not required.
  • Previous experience with accounting software such as Unanet, Deltek, or QuickBooks and with GovCon desired.
