Main duties include:
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for various entities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant tax regulations.
- Assist in tax reconciliations, compliance requirements, and identifying client queries for review.
- Support business advisory services, including financial analysis and exposure to Virtual CFO and tax planning activities.
- Manage jobs within agreed budgets and deadlines, maintaining proactive and timely communication.
- Build strong professional relationships with clients and team members while demonstrating initiative, accountability, and high professional standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and accounting packages i.e. Xero, MYOB, APS (XPM highly desirable, but not essential).
- Up to 1 year of Australian Public Practice experience (preferrable)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
