JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for a variety of detailed accounting and clerical activities, such as processing accounts payable documents for the regional facilities.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review all invoices and verify PO approval, PO pricing and receipt quantity in ERP system
• Enter invoice data for payment upon price/quantity verification and approval
• Review and process vendor credits, refunds and payment corrections.
• Respond to all vendor inquiries and resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Review vendor statements and solve discrepancies.
• Assist with maintenance of accurate vendor information within ERP, including reviewing setups and requirement documentation.
• Verify new/updated vendor banking information.
• Assist in preparing vendor payments through ACH, check, and CCR
• Assist in Month-end closing activities that relate to AP
• Assist with 1099 Reporting and other year end close activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Essential Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting or at two years’ experience in Accounts Payable
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Capable of maintaining confidentiality of accounting and company information
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills

Desirable Qualifications

• Ability to provide professional, pleasant, supportive interaction with individuals of all levels of technical abilities
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision

ADA Requirements

• Typically sits, grasps items and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer
• Stand, walk, bend, reach or otherwise move about occasionally
• Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally
• Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards
• Travel by air or car occasionally
