Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver lectures, tutorials, and/or workshops in assigned modules such as child development, curriculum design, pedagogy, assessment, and family engagement.

  • Develop and update teaching materials to align with programme learning outcomes and current industry practices.

  • Facilitate meaningful learning experiences using a variety of instructional strategies, including blended and experiential learning approaches.

  • Assess student performance through assignments, projects, and examinations, providing timely and constructive feedback.

  • Support students’ academic progress and professional growth.

  • Ensure compliance with academic policies, quality assurance standards, and accreditation requirements.

  • Participate in programme meetings, moderation, and curriculum review as required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a related field.

  • Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Studies or a closely related discipline is preferred.

  • ACTA/ACLP certification is required.

  • At least 3–5 years of relevant teaching and/or industry experience in early childhood settings.

  • Prior teaching experience in higher education or adult learning environments is preferred.

  • Familiarity with Singapore’s early childhood frameworks (e.g., NEL Framework, ECDA guidelines) is an advantage.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective interpersonal abilities.

  • Experience in the following modules is highly preferred:

  • Professionalism Values and Ethics

  • Children’s Voices, Listening and Agency

  • Specialist Dissertation

  • Mental Health and Socio-economic Wellbeing in Early Childhood

  • Learning and Cognition Difficulties

hourly rates: 70-80
