Description of Work
This position is located at Avery/Mitchell Correctional Institution in Spruce Pine North Carolina. This is a medium custody male facility. This position reports to the Associate Warden for Programs and is responsible for providing a variety of administrative, clerical, and office support duties.Key duties include:
- Preparing documents, reports, composing memos and letters.
- Organizing and maintaining files.
- Mail distribution.
- Communicate with the general public and outside agencies.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities/Management Preferences
Salary Range: $31,200 - $51,249 Salary Grade:NC02
Management Preferences:
Documented proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs.
