Job Description:

• Provide outpatient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of a physician
• Dedicated to one physician
• Full-Time Schedule
• Austin Gastro - Primarily Kyle location, potentially South Austin & Dripping Springs depending on volume
• No call responsibilities
• No inpatient responsibilities
• Seeing both new patients and follow-up patients, approximately 12 patients per full clinic day
• Complete patient histories and physicals
• Determine tentative diagnosis and order appropriate laboratory tests
• Counsel patient and family on health and disease
• Participate in all continuing education, training, and other requirements to remain in good standing for credentialing purposes at assigned medical facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required and Preferred Qualifications:

• TX State Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Required
• Comfortable working in a busy and thriving practice Required
• Experience working as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Preferred
• Gastrointestinal experience Preferred
