Joondalup Health Campus (JHC) has an impressive, recovery-focused 102-bed mental health service offering adult inpatient care, and for the first time, is catering for youth (16-24 years) and older adult (65+ years) inpatients. The service offers open and secure accommodation. JHC also operates a ten-bed emergency department, mental health observation Area (MHOA) and a consultation liaison service.

An exciting opportunity for Certificate Trainees in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry to join our Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry Team on full-time, 6-month contact. 

This post is an accredited placement for advanced trainees in consultation liaison psychiatry. The unit provides excellent registrar teaching and has an active continuing medical education (CME) program. JHC provides teaching and training for RANZCP trainees, participates in the hospital's postgraduate medical education program and provides undergraduate education to medical students.

Essential Criteria:

• Applicants need to be enrolled in a RANZCP Accredited Training Program and have been appointed or pending appointment to the Certificate of Advanced Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry by the WA Director of Advanced Training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry
• Successful applicants must have a demonstrated commitment to upholding and promoting the Ramsay Way core values.
• Applicants must have current AHPRA registration or be eligible to apply for AHPRA registration.

Desirable Criteria:

• Prior experience in Consultation-Liaison or Older Adult Psychiatry.

Remuneration

Remuneration package of $175,576.80- $235,046.56 per annum (including base salary, professional development allowance and 12% superannuation).

Additional Information
