AI QA Engineer (Agentic Testing)

About You

You are an AI QA Engineer passionate about transforming software quality through AI-powered testing and intelligent automation. You thrive in innovative environments where you can combine QA Automation expertise with Large Language Models (LLMs), AI-powered testing platforms, and agentic workflows to improve software quality, accelerate testing, and increase engineering productivity.

You enjoy designing intelligent testing solutions, collaborating with engineering teams, and continuously exploring emerging AI technologies to optimize testing strategies and deliver high-quality software.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Quality Engineering.
• Hands-on experience implementing AI-powered or Agentic Testing solutions.
• Experience with AI-driven testing platforms such as Testim, Mabl, Katalon AI, Reflect, or similar.
• Experience building or configuring LLM-based testing workflows or AI agents.
• Experience designing AI-generated test cases from user stories or business requirements.
• Experience validating and improving AI-generated testing outputs.
• Strong experience with Playwright for API automation.
• Experience automating mobile applications using WebDriverIO.
• Strong JavaScript and TypeScript programming skills.
• Experience testing REST APIs, authentication flows, and token management.
• Experience integrating automated testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience using Git and modern software development practices.
• Advanced English proficiency.

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AI-powered testing agents for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Build AI workflows capable of interpreting user stories and business requirements to generate automated test scenarios.
• Evaluate and optimize AI-generated testing results by refining prompts and improving testing accuracy.
• Develop and maintain API automation using Playwright.
• Build and maintain mobile automation frameworks using WebDriverIO.
• Integrate AI-powered testing solutions into CI/CD pipelines.
• Document AI-generated execution evidence, logs, screenshots, and testing reports.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to continuously improve AI-driven testing strategies, automation frameworks, and software quality practices.
• Research and promote emerging AI technologies that improve testing efficiency and engineering productivity.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in QA Automation or Quality Engineering.
• Experience implementing AI-powered or Agentic Testing solutions.
• Strong experience with Playwright, WebDriverIO, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Experience with REST API automation and CI/CD integration.
• Advanced English proficiency.
