AI Solution Architect

We are looking to strengthen our growing AI & Data team with AI Solution Architect, someone interested and experienced in planning and executing implementation of scalable AI solutions with our teams in our client projects.

Your role

As an AI Solution Architect in our AI & Data Team, being a part of our Technology & Transformation business unit, you will be responsible for:

Technical Vision & Architecture

• Design and steer client engagements where organisations want to build scalable AI capabilities, covering both the AI solution architecture and how it fits into the overall enterprise landscape and business processes
• Advise clients on how AI should be embedded into their existing architectures: not just as a “nice AI layer on top”, considering integration, data, security, governance and “human in the loop” aspects so that solutions are robust, usable and sustainable

Execution Leadership

• Shape and lead AI engagements: Define scope and approach, coordinate stakeholders and team members, and ensure the work stays on track while collaborating hands-on with technical teams on AI architectures and solutions (e.g. cloud-native and agentic AI patterns on Azure/AWS/GCP), bringing enough technical depth to challenge and guide design choices
• Partner with client and Deloitte Solution Architect’s and cross-functional teams for successful and scalable delivery
• Provide technical oversight across project workstream; identify and resolve architectural dependencies and delivery risks proactively

Platform & Innovation

• Evaluate emerging AI/ML, agentic frameworks, and automation technologies and make recommendations for adoption
• Drive development and operationalization of AI-powered POCs towards scalable production solutions
• Collaborate with our Engineering, AI & Data delivery methodology team on best ways to adopt valuable emerging concepts into delivery

Team & Stakeholder Engagement

• Facilitate workshops and design sessions with business and IT stakeholders, translating needs into AI/architecture concepts and clear next steps
• Build and nurture long-term relationships with stakeholders and clients by collaborating closely to understand their business needs and ensuring all engagements meet the highest quality standards
• Support proposal development, including responding to RFPs and contributing to business development activities related to potential projects and engagements
• Mentor and develop engineers, consultants, and architects working in the domain.
• Act as a trusted advisor in client discussions on AI Solutions, striking the right balance between technical depth and business relevance, helping clients make realistic, value-driven decisions

Qualifications

What we are looking for:

Technical skills:

• 5+ years of data/analytics/AI technology delivery experience, including at least 3 years in a senior architecture or technical leadership role, preferably in consultative capacity
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and deploying agentic AI, LLM-driven automation, and multi-agent systems in enterprise environments. You have to not only know your way around the topic, but understand the implications agentic AI brings to planning and managing the architecture
• Proficiency in Python, AI/ML model development, and workflow orchestration
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for deploying AI and automation workloads
• Strong knowledge of integration architecture, APIs, microservices, and CI/CD practices with solid understanding of enterprise architecture
• Proven skillset through relevant (AI) architecture certifications from e.g. Azure, AWS or GCP
• Familiarity with RAG architectures, vector databases, and agentic frameworks

Soft skills:

• Ability to make complex analysis and communicate it in a concise and clear manner, appropriately tailored to people from a very wide range of cultures, technical backgrounds and seniorities
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to priorities tasks effectively. Proven ability to execute and deliver, not just design or theorize
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team with good coaching skills to support the professional development of junior colleagues
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry trends
• You get satisfaction from helping organizations whilst forming and maintaining long-term business partnerships/relationships requiring effective interpersonal skills

Preferred/beneficial:

• Experience of AI solutioning integrated to ERP/CRM environments
• Experience with data/analytics/AI platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Fabric, AWS Sagemaker
• Experience in implementation of Agentic AI and RPA platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (advanced degree preferred with studies demonstrating technological competence)
• Excellent command of the English language, Finnish (or Swedish) language is seen as an asset
• You should possess a valid residence and work permit, candidates requiring relocation not being our primary option for this role
