AI Solution Architect (m/f/d)

We are looking for dedicated new members to join our ‘Artificial Intelligence & Cloud Platform’ team at our Bocholt site.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and operate reusable AI and agentic platform services as well as integration patterns for common GenAI use cases within the AI and Cloud Platform team
• Work as part of Flender's AI Factory, a central initiative driving the global adoption of AI technologies, AI tooling, and AI-enabled ways of working across the company
• Define and establish standards, governance frameworks, guardrails, and reference architectures to ensure secure, compliant, and responsible AI usage in line with the EU AI Act
• Develop and prototype innovative AI platform capabilities while evaluating emerging technologies, trends, and opportunities in the AI ecosystem
• Translate AI capabilities into practical business solutions and advise development teams through architectural guidance, patterns, and best practices
• Drive AI adoption across the organization through communication, workshops, training, and close collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders worldwide
• Act as a trusted advisor to business and technology teams, identifying use cases, gathering requirements, assessing opportunities, and helping maximize value from AI solutions

Required Knowledge, Skills, Education and Experience:

• Successfully completed degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification
• Practical experience with modern AI technologies, agentic platforms, and AI harnesses (for example Microsoft Copilot Studio, GitHub Copilot or similar technologies)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure) is beneficial but not mandatory
• Solid understanding of API-based architectures, integration patterns, and secure system design
• Experience in platform engineering, developer platforms, or the design of reusable services
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple, practical solutions
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Pragmatic mindset with a focus on business value, scalability, and user adoption
