Ramsay Clinic - Albert Road offers a comprehensive range of inpatient and day programs designed to support individuals experiencing a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related conditions, and other complex mental health concerns. Care is delivered by a multidisciplinary team of experienced psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, allied health professionals, and support staff who work collaboratively to develop personalised treatment plans.

As an Allied Health Assistant, working within the Women’s Recovery Network- Inpatient Unit, you will provide both clinical and non-clinical support, to ensure all patients receive high-quality patient-focused care.

Your duties will include:

• Assist the Allied Health teams (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics and Exercise Physiology) in the management of a diverse range of patients who require mental health care.
• Assist the Allied Health team in preparation for and delivery of individualised and group therapy programs.
• Assist the Allied Health team in research around post discharge supports within the community and supporting the team with referrals where appropriate.
• Work both independently and within a team structure.
• Perform other reasonable duties consistent with the scope of this role, as requested by the Allied Health Team/Management.

About you:

This role will suit a patient-focused individual with experience in mental health along with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to work effectively as part of a professional team environment will also be key to your success.

You will also bring (Selection Criteria):

1. Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance
2. Experience working in an interdisciplinary mental health team or health service industry is desirable.
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
4. High standard of customer service and a team approach.
5. Flexible and positive approach to work.
