Aluminum MIG/TIG Welder

Description

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Aluminum MIG/TIG Welders for projects located in or around Vancouver, WA. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $27–$32/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Perform MIG and TIG welding on aluminum components according to blueprint specifications
• Read and interpret blueprints, product prints, and welding symbols
• Fit and weld component parts accurately to required specifications
• Use hand tools, clamps, grinders, and fabrication equipment
• Build basic jigs and fixtures as needed
• Safely rig, handle, and move completed parts throughout the production process
• Inspect and self-assess completed welds to ensure quality standards are met
• Perform fitting and finishing work to meet production requirements
• Complete basic maintenance on welding equipment
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Participate in team meetings and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Work effectively as part of a production team

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2–3 years of production welding experience
• Experience with both MIG and TIG welding
• Must be proficient in TIG welding aluminum
• Ability to read and work from blueprints and product prints
• Understanding of welding symbols and fabrication requirements
• Strong fitting and finishing skills
• Experience with cab racks and toolboxes is a major plus
• Mechanically inclined and comfortable using fabrication tools and equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable, trustworthy, and team-oriented
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment weld test
• Willingness to work occasional overtime
