Anesthesia Attendant, Marshall Medical Centers South, OR, Full time, 1st shift

Overview

Anesthesia attendants assist CRNA’s & anesthesiologists in preparing each OR for cases, maintaining the stock drug and supplies inventory, key in daily charges & check all against the anesthesia record, clean & maintain equipment, turn over rooms between cases, prepare PAT sheets and charts, and assist CRNA’s during inductions and regional anesthetics and /or difficult cases. The techs work under the direction of the CRNA’s.

Qualifications

Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred. College Preferred, but not required

Skills: Must have advanced computer skills and demonstrate clerical aptitude. Surgical /Medical terminology course preferred.
