Department: Governance & Executive Operations

Location: Tr’ondëkHwëch’in Offices – Dawson, YT

Posting Date: April 29, 2026

Standard Hours Bi-Weekly: Auxiliary On-Call

Start Date:Immediately

End Date: March 31, 2027

Salary: Youth Wages ($19.02 - $20.57 hourly)

Closing Date: Ongoing

Under the direction of the Senior Events Coordinator, this position is responsible forassisting with General Assembly, Moosehide Gathering and other special events of Tr’ondëkHwëch’in Government. The position will be responsible for a number of administrative tasks, set-up and tear-down as well as some planning and organizing tasks.

An Eligibility List may be established from this competition – the duration of the eligibility list may be up to 12 months. The eligibility list may be used to fill future permanent full-time, permanent part-time, temporary full-time, temporary part-time, term, or auxiliary on-call vacancies within the same department and classification based on the organizational needs by going the next highest ranked candidate until the eligibility list expires.

EssentialQualifications:

  • Must be a Youth aged 15-30.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good working knowledge of Tr’ondëkHwëch’in culture and traditions.
  • Good typing skills, or willingness to learn.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work as a team member.
  • Good communication skills.
