Application & Project Engineer

Job Description Summary

• Provide technical interface with Sales, Commercial, Project Management, Service and Manufacturing/Sourcing throughout the ITO&OTR life cycle.
• Responsible for technical clarification/presentation to customer, technical risk assessment to support Sales, PM & Sourcing.
• Provide support to response all customer technical inquiries and communications, as well as review customer specifications for assigned projects.
• Responsible for assigned projects’ technical management, support project manager to fulfill whole project execution.
• Support OTR tasks: BOM fulfillment, manufacturing/sourcing support, project document preparation, customer technical meeting participation.
• Support installation and commissioning of assigned projects

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities Application Engineer:

•Review Customer’s RFQ identifying the risk content by means of a TRA and mitigating these risks through clear action items, owner and due date assignments.

•Manage risk within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process

•Work with Functions to get approval or identifying mitigation tools, checking the expiration date of the mitigation, if any.

•Keep clear, complete, updated and traceable documentation of the work done with the Platforms.

•Use only this approved process and tools.

Roles and Responsibilities Project Engineer:

•Ensuring compliance with the Risk Procedure/WIs within their own organizations, assigning clear responsibilities and Delegation of Authority (DoA) to senior managers with respect to their approving limits.

•Assigning within their organizations unique contact interface for ITO support. The designated interfaces will provide all mitigation and instructions to ITO concerning the risk process, notwithstanding the risk intensity.

•Implementing processes within their organization to assure the appropriate level of approval, before designated interface’s reply to ITO.

•Use only this approved process and tools.
