Are you mechanically minded, eager to learn, and ready to build a long-term career in the heavy equipment industry?

Honeycombes Sales & Service is now accepting applications for our 2027 Apprentice Intake. This is an exciting opportunity to gain a nationally recognised trade qualification while working alongside experienced technicians servicing leading agricultural, construction, industrial, and transport equipment.

As an Apprentice Service Technician, you'll receive hands-on training, structured mentoring, and the opportunity to develop the skills needed to become a qualified tradesperson in a supportive and professional environment.

Working within our Service Department, you will assist qualified technicians with:

• Maintenance, servicing and repair of machinery and equipment
• Workshop preparation and housekeeping
• Equipment inspections and basic fault-finding activities
• Safe use of tools and workshop equipment
• Completing apprenticeship training and competency requirements
• Delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service standards

About you

We're looking for individuals who:

• Have completed Year 10 or above
• Hold (or are working towards obtaining) a Queensland driver's licence
• Have a genuine interest in mechanical technology and machinery
• Are reliable, motivated, and eager to learn
• Can follow instructions and work as part of a team
• Demonstrate attention to detail and a positive attitude
• Reflect our values and commitment to safety
