Architect - Residential Projects

Architecture BRIO is looking for a talented architect to join our Rotterdam studio for an initial period of 3–6 months, working on a number of residential projects currently in development.

We are seeking an architect with a strong design sensibility, solid technical understanding, and experience delivering high-quality residential projects. The role offers the opportunity to work directly with the founders and project leaders on projects ranging from early design studies through to project development and coordination.

This position is ideally suited to architects who are looking for greater responsibility, closer involvement in design decision-making, and the opportunity to contribute meaningfully within a collaborative and design-driven studio environment.

Architecture BRIO is an internationally recognised architecture and design practice with studios in Mumbai and Rotterdam. Our work spans architecture, interiors, urban design and research, with a particular focus on creating thoughtful, context-driven projects that combine design excellence with technical rigour.

Tasks

• Contribute to the design and development of residential projects across multiple stages.
• Produce high-quality drawings, presentations and project documentation.
• Participate in design studies, architectural detailing and project development.
• Coordinate with consultants, engineers and project stakeholders.
• Participate in client meetings and project coordination sessions.
• Help maintain design quality and consistency throughout the project.

Requirements

• Qualified architect with approximately 3–8 years of professional experience.
• Experience working on high-quality residential projects.
• Strong understanding of Dutch building regulations and construction practices.
• Proficiency in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite (Rhino is a plus).
• Strong design, detailing and coordination skills.Excellent communication skills in English (Dutch is an advantage).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
• Availability to start within the coming weeks.
