Architectural Draftsman

As an Architectural Draftsman at IRTH, you will be instrumental in translating design concepts into detailed architectural drawings. Your expertise in drafting will support a range of projects from initial sketches to the production of construction documentation, ensuring that all designs adhere to relevant codes and standards.

• Create accurate drawings, plans, and details using CAD software, ensuring compliance with design specifications and local regulations.
• Assist architects and project teams in developing design concepts and coordinating architectural elements.
• Revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders, ensuring all changes are documented.
• Prepare technical drawings for building permits and submissions to local authorities.
• Maintain an organized drawing register and documentation to streamline project workflows.
• Collaborate with engineers and other disciplines to integrate all project components effectively.
• Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to enhance drawing quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as a draftsman in architectural firms or consultancy environments.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit or other 3D modeling software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, zoning laws, and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality technical drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
