POSITION OVERVIEW
The Architectural Sales Account Associate is primarily an inside sales role responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with architects, designers, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals. Based in a showroom environment, this position provides consultative sales support, product expertise, and specification guidance while helping clients through the material selection process.
The role includes regular local travel throughout the South Florida market to meet with clients, conduct presentations, visit project sites, and occasionally assist with material selections at the company's Miami or Fort Lauderdale showrooms. The Architectural Sales Account Associate is responsible for achieving sales goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Build and maintain relationships with architects, designers, builders, contractors, and other trade professionals.
- Promote company products and support product specification for residential and commercial projects.
- Conduct showroom appointments, product presentations, and client consultations.
- Assist clients with product recommendations, material selections, samples, and specifications.
- Travel locally to meet with clients, visit project sites, and attend presentations or meetings.
- Occasionally travel to the company's Miami or Fort Lauderdale showroom locations to assist with client consultations and material selections.
- Meet or exceed individual sales goals established by the Regional Sales Manager.
- Process customer orders accurately and review orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and resolve issues while providing exceptional customer service.
- Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and project updates within the CRM.
- Collaborate with the Regional Sales Manager on sales strategies, forecasting, and pipeline development.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, networking events, and company functions.
- Maintain current product knowledge and complete assigned training.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 3–5 years of sales experience, preferably within architectural products, building materials, interior design, wholesale, or showroom sales.
- Experience working with architects, designers, builders, contractors, or trade professionals preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong communication, organization, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
- Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
This position is primarily based in a showroom environment with regular interaction with architects, designers, builders, contractors, and homeowners. Regular local travel throughout the assigned South Florida territory is required, with occasional visits to the company's Miami or Fort Lauderdale showroom locations. Standard office equipment, CRM systems, and showroom resources are used daily.

- Sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Drive regularly throughout the assigned territory.
- Use standard office equipment, computers, and mobile devices.
WORK SCHEDULE
Monday through Friday during normal business hours.
Participation in a rotating Saturday showroom schedule is required, with associates working approximately two Saturdays per month.
Regular local travel throughout the assigned territory is required. Occasional evening client events or networking functions may also be necessary.
