- Large-Scale Team Leadership: Lead, manage, and develop a large team of 150 to 300 Associates and their direct Team Leaders. Act as a source of leadership, mentoring your Team Leaders to become the best managers they can be.
- Shift Management & Operations: Lead IB or OB shift operations to fulfill and dispatch orders efficiently, ensuring customers receive their items on time. Address operational issues in real-time and make quick, impactful decisions to keep the shift running smoothly.
- Performance & Productivity: Deep dive into performance and risk metrics. Analyze shift performance against business objectives, review work forecasts, and determine daily productivity requirements to meet building KPIs and customer demand.
- Safety & Compliance: Actively engage with your team on the floor to maintain the highest levels of safety and attendance. Support all safety programs, ensure compliance, and enforce building security and product loss prevention procedures.
- Process Improvement & Lean Initiatives: Proactively identify opportunities for innovation and design initiatives to improve site performance. Utilize Lean tools and methodologies to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across process paths.
- Quality Control: Partner with the broader management team to establish, maintain, and enforce strict quality control standards, ensuring accuracy across all tasks.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as the key link between day-to-day floor operations and critical support teams, working closely with HR, Finance, Health & Safety, Security, and Operations Integration to drive overall site success.
- Communication & Policy Management: Act as the primary source of information for your team. Clearly communicate policies, maintain operational consistency, ensure compliance, and take appropriate corrective action when necessary.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- Proven managerial experience with sizable teams, coupled with a natural ability to motivate others and build strong relationships.
- Strong background in people and stakeholder management.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, including conducting in-depth analysis of complex processes.
- Experience using data and anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
- Familiarity with key aspects of production, supply chains, and operations.
- Experience with performance metrics and continuous process improvement.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in business-level English.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Completed Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen techniques.
- Background in a similar logistical work environment.
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional setting.
