As a Armed Security Guard Part Time Patrol in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government transit location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to developing situations. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, caring, and integrity. An Armed Guard Card or License, Concealed Carry Weapons Permit, and Law Enforcement Officer License are required.

Pay Rate: $33.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, transit location policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, entrances, perimeters, and other assigned areas to help identify and report unusual activity or potential hazards.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas, verify authorization when required, and help maintain orderly movement throughout assigned locations.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required documentation, and coordinate with site personnel and public agencies when appropriate.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a concealed carry weapons permit.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
