Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Clearance Eligible in Adelanto, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a professional environment through exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and security-related concerns.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report discrepancies or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports, maintain required activity documentation, and communicate security-related observations to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a valid California weapons permit with a 9mm caliber endorsement.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
