Asia Business Intelligence Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complex open source and human intelligence-led investigative assignments (including pre-transactional integrity due diligence checks and other bespoke investigations);
• Write concise and cogent reports that weave in research findings with an in-depth contextualized analysis of key issues and other pertinent findings.
• Deliver written and verbal briefings to senior management and clients on research findings.
• Prepare proposals for new business. Support the development of Anthesis Business Intelligence’s human source network in Asia; and
• Once comfortable with Anthesis Business Intelligence’s house style and research methodologies, assist in training new team members and proofreading reports.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Fluency in reading and writing English in a commercial context and at least one regional language.
• With 1-6 years’ full-time post-graduate work experience in the corporate intelligence industry and/or another relevant investigative background.
• Experience using open-source research tools such as LexisNexis and Factiva, as well as regional and language-specific databases and media sources.
• Ability to plan and manage multifaceted research projects from the proposal stage to delivering our work to the client.
• A working knowledge of financial, commercial and legal concepts.
• A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field from an accredited university; and
• Professional proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite.
