Pay: Weekly: starting pay at $15/hr

BAYADA Home Health Care is currently seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) w/ American Sign Language (ASL) to join the team in Morganton, NC, working for a specific client. BAYADA’s special needs caregivers - Direct Support Professionals DSPs - work one-on-one in home and community settings as a companion and mentor for individuals with intellectual or developmental disability to help them reach their full potential. Qualifications for Our Support Professionals:

• One year of experience working with intellectual and developmental disabilities (If you do not have this experience, training is available through our apprentice program)
• Ability to communicate using ASL (Fluent in ASL is preferred).
• High school diploma or equivalent

How You’ll Make an Impact:

• Provide personal care assistance with daily hygiene (bathing, dressing, etc.)
• Accompany clients on errands and appointments
• Spend time on the client’s favorite hobbies and activities
• Assist with everyday tasks, such as meal preparation
• Participate in community integration activities

Compensation & Schedule:

• Competitive pay rates starting at $15 with a weekly pay schedule
• Flexible scheduling
• Must be located in NC
