Assembly Specialist

Job description

Pay: Starting at $17.00 per hour

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Schedule: Monday–Thursday (no weekends!), 6:00 am–4:30 pm

DAY-TO-DAY

• Fit wires and metal parts together using power and hand tools (screw gun, mallets and hammers, tape measure, and tools for cutting, stripping, and crimping)

• Read and understand drawings and instructions in English to determine types of materials or measurements required.

• Clean and maintain an orderly work area.

• Occasionally lift and move packaged boxes.

• Attention to detail in assembling components accurately to avoid errors in your work.

• Detail-oriented in following directions, making improvements to your own work, and taking ownership for learning and correcting errors.

WHAT IT TAKES TO SUCCEED

• No experience necessary—you receive on-the-job training!

• Able to regularly lift up to 50 pounds

• Able to repetitively grasp, pull, and release

• Attention to detail, dependable, cooperative, able to follow instructions, and willing to learn

• Able to communicate and read instructions in English

• Preferred: High school diploma or equivalent

• Preferred: 1+ years of working with hand tools or assembly
