Assembly Technician – Racing Equipment

AFCO Performance Group is seeking a Racing Equipment Assembly Technician to join our team in Boonville, Indiana.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, pays close attention to detail, takes pride in quality work, and likes being part of a team focused on hitting daily and weekly goals.

What You’ll Do:

As a Racing Equipment Assembly Technician, you’ll help build high-quality racing equipment used by racers and teams across the country.

Daily responsibilities may include:

• Reviewing detailed work instructions and specifications for each build
• Inspecting components to ensure they meet general quality requirements
• Following video, electronic, and written assembly instructions
• Assembling racing tire pressure gauges, race car gauge dash panels, and other racing equipment
• Using hand tools and equipment such as wrenches, heat guns, hand drills, and similar tools
• Inspecting finished products for quality and accuracy
• Moving between different work areas within the company as production needs change
• Working with team members to meet or exceed daily and weekly production goals
• Most tasks do not require repetitive heavy lifting; however, team members must be able to lift up to 25 pounds.

• Ability to stand for extended periods of time

• Professionalism and sound decision-making skills
• Willingness to learn and work in different areas as needed
• High school diploma or GED
• Consistent and reliable attendance in accordance with AFCO’s attendance policy
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screening prior to employment

Schedule:

This position currently works a four-day workweek: Monday–Thursday | 6:00 AM–4:40 PM

Team members currently work 10-hour days, giving you a three-day weekend while maintaining a full-time schedule.
